Suspected terrorist collaborator arrested in Adamawa

Troops of 247 Reconnaissance Battalion, C Company, Mubi, in conjunction with Keystone and local hunters, have arrested a suspected terrorist collaborator during a cordon-and-search operation in Mubi South Local Government Area of Adamawa State. The operation was conducted in Girpata and Wurobululude areas of Mubi South on August 9, 2026. During the operation, the troops arrested a 43-year-old suspect identified as Yahaya Adamu in the Girpata area. The suspect was taken into custody by troops of 247 Battalion for further investigation to establish his alleged links and activities with terrorist elements. The troops subsequently returned to base at about 3:10 a.m. According to security analyst, Zagazola Makama, the operation forms part of ongoing efforts by security forces to identify and disrupt terrorist support networks operating within communities in the North-East. The post Suspected terrorist collaborator arrested in Adamawa appeared first on Linda Ikeji Blog.
