Nigerian man reunited with family in US after being missing for 10 years
A Nigerian man, Phillip Elobuike, has been successfully reunited with his family after being missing for a decade, thanks to a viral social media campaign initiated by a concerned compatriot.  The breakthrough occurred on Sunday, August 9, when a Nigerian woman spotted Elobuike wandering the streets of Dallas, Texas. He was carrying bags containing his personal belongings, prompting her to intervene out of concern for his well-being. Upon questioning him, she discovered he is an indigene of Enugu State. Elobuike was able to identify his mother as Evelyn Elobuike and his sister as Josephine Elobuike.  Seeking public assistance, the woman recorded a video of the encounter and shared it online, appealing to social media users to help track down his relatives.  The digital appeal yielded swift results. Within hours of the video going viral, Elobuikes uncle and sister established contact with the woman, confirming they had not seen or heard from him in ten years.  Expressing her gratitude, the young lady thanked everyone who participated in the search. She later revealed that the critical breakthrough happened after the video was shared in a WhatsApp group where Elobuikes uncle was a member, allowing him to positively identify his missing nephew. .Watch the video she shared below     View this post on Instagram           A post shared by Lindaikejiblog (@lindaikejiblogofficial)  The post Nigerian man reunited with family in US after being missing for 10 years appeared first on Linda Ikeji Blog.
