Fulham have completed the signing of striker Gonzalo Garca from Real Madrid in a deal worth 40 million (34m). The 22-year-old has put pen to paper on a five-year contract until 2031, with an option to extend by a further year. Garca, who came through Real Madrids academy after joining the club at the age of 10, scored 13 goals in 51 appearances for Real in all competitions and won the Champions League and LaLiga in 2024. He now reunites with former Madrid youth coach lvaro Arbeloa, who took charge of Fulham this summer. Speaking to the club website, Garca said:Im very grateful, very happy to be here. I have to thank the board and [lvaro] Arbeloa for the trust theyve put in me, and Im very, very excited to start. Fulham signed Garca after losing two of their top attackers this summer, following the expirations of their contracts - with last seasons top scorer Harry Wilson joining Leeds and Mexican no.9 Ral Jimnez re-signing for Wolves in the Championship. The post Fulham sign Spanish striker Gonzalo Garcia from Real Madrid appeared first on Linda Ikeji Blog.Source
