FIFA names officials for Spain vs Argentina World Cup final

FIFA has confirmed that Slavko Vincic will referee the World Cup final between Spain and Argentina. The world football governing body announced the appointment of the World Cup final officials on its official X account on Friday ahead of Sundays final at the New York New Jersey Stadium in the United States. Vincic will lead a Slovenian team at New York New Jersey Stadium, with Tomaz Klancnik and Andraz Kovacic serving as his assistants. Jordans Adham Makhadmeh has been named fourth official, while Mohammad Alkalaf will serve as reserve assistant referee. The 46-year-old is refereeing at his second World Cup, and the final will be his fourth game of the competition, following two group-stage fixtures and one previous match in the knockout rounds. The final will be played at the 80,663-capacity New York New Jersey Stadium, with kick-off scheduled for 3:00 p.m. local time (EDT). The match will be the 104th and final fixture of the expanded 48-team FIFA World Cup, which has been jointly hosted by the United States, Canada and Mexico.The post FIFA names officials for Spain vs Argentina World Cup final appeared first on Linda Ikeji Blog.
