Couple attacked by pet pit bull while inspecting rental house in shocking video

A couple suffered multiple injuries after they were attacked by a pitbull in Patialas Ghuman Nagar area, India. CCTV footage of the incident is now circulating on social media. The attack took place on Tuesday evening, August 11, when Ankit Sabharwal and his wife Shifali went to Ghuman Nagar with a property dealer to inspect a house they were considering renting. According to Ankit, the pitbull rushed out as soon as the house gate was opened and attacked his wife. The dog mauled her arm and other parts of her body, leaving her with deep injuries that required surgery. She is undergoing treatment at a private hospital. Ankit also suffered deep bite wounds on his legs and back while attempting to rescue his wife.  The CCTV footage shows the dog attacking the couple as nearby residents try to fend it off with sticks. A woman is seen coming out of the house with a stick, but is unable to stop the animal.
