A Catholic priest has questioned why Catholic priests from Africa reject African names during baptism. He claimed that no European priest has ever rejected an African name, rather, those rejections have all been from African priests. He wrote: From all the reports I have received in recent times, no European priest has ever rejected the use of an African name for baptism.
