Anthony Joshua opens up on returning to boxing after tragic crash k!lled two of his close friends
British-Nigerian boxer Anthony Joshua has opened up about returning to the ring following the tragic car cr@sh that claimed the lives of two of his closest friends, Sina Ghami and Latif "Latz" Ayodele. Speaking ahead of his comeback fight against Kristian Prenga in Saudi Arabia, Joshua said quitting boxing never crossed his mind because the sport gives him purpose and direction. Reflecting on the loss, the former heavyweight champion said he chose to focus on the pain their families were experiencing rather than his own, adding that everyone grieves differently. Joshua also revealed that training with Oleksandr Usyk's team strengthened both his work ethic and his faith, saying one of the biggest lessons he learned was the importance of prayer. The 36-year-old will return to action this weekend, marking his first fight since the tragic accident and the start of what he hopes will be a new chapter in his career.  The post Anthony Joshua opens up on returning to boxing after tragic crash k!lled two of his close friends appeared first on Linda Ikeji Blog.
