2027: INEC does not have a candidate nor does it favour any political platform - INEC boss, Prof Amupitan

Ahead of the 2027 presidential election, the Chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), Professor Josiah Amupitan, on Tuesday, August 18, reiterated the commissions resolve to conduct a credible election, insisting that the electoral body wont favour any candidate or party. While speaking at the National Peace Accord, which precedes the 2027 Presidential election. Allaying fears that the commission might be partial during the electoral exercise, Amupitan saidINEC has no interest in who wins or loses any election.
